I have to say, I think our first voting challenge was a great success. Over 30 of us put are photos out there, and nearly 100 people cast their votes.

Mood: Voting Post

Ok, a few ground rules for voting (I know, rules suck, but even Fight Club had rules):

1. Voting will be open from 10:30pm Wednesday August 11 - 11:59pm Friday August 13 (PST).
2. Please do not vote for your own photo (honour system here).
3. You may only choose 1 to vote for (hard, I know!). In the event of a tie, we can do a short vote-off over the weekend.
4. I truly hope this goes without saying, but please do not share this link and solicit votes from friends/family. The intent is to poll our direct community - regular posters/lurkers on TB or SPN. This is an honour system people! If I see numbers swell above even our regular lurker status, I will shut it down and look at alternative ways to poll. I really don't want to use comments and have to manually add things up myself, so please, lets all play nice and let the system do the work for us!
5. The top 3 vote getters will receive bragging rights.

Wow. I am so excited to see how people decide to vote. This is a great collection, and so diverse!

Aug 6 - 12 Call: Mood

NOTICE: Changes to how to enter are now in effect! Please read below carefully.

While we make the transition to separate voting and non-voting challenges, I thought what I would do is add the option to be voted on. So both those looking for competition, and those just wanting to play for fun can enter. So now, when you post your picture, list your SN and whether you want it to be a VOTING or NON VOTING entry. I will post all pictures a day early now, so photos will be accepted through Tuesday August 10. Photos will be posted on Wednesday August 11. At the same time I will add a poll option for all voting entries. Viewers will then have Wednesday and Thursday August 12 to cast their votes. Winner will be announced Friday August 13 along with next week's theme! The top 3 choices will get bragging rights and cool Voter's Choice buttons :)
